Chapter 219: The Solution

Ji Tianzhuo put his arm around her waist, wanting to kiss her, but she dodged him. The girl pushed him away with a look of disgust, then went to the side and watched him nervously.

He hadn't drunk much, but he was still swaying unsteadily, as if he were about to fall. The girl knocked on the back door, watching him slowly approach.

Ji Tianzhu smiled, seemingly somewhat disdainful. There was no woman in this world he couldn't have; it was just a momentary display of arrogance.

However, the room was rather shabby, making it quite unappetizing. He impatiently called the people outside in. Then, pointing at the girl, he said with disgust, "Take her to another room. This place isn't good."

"Yes, young master." They stepped forward together, grabbed the girl, and took her to another place. Ji Tianzhuo staggered behind them, running into a few acquaintances along the way. After joking around for a while, they went off to drink together.

A few people were playing drinking games, and Ji Tianzhuo was drinking by himself on the side. After the others finished drinking, they looked at him and asked, "Why are you drinking alone? What's wrong? Tell the brothers."

Ji Tianzhuo looked up, glanced at each of them, and then continued drinking his wine. "If telling you would be useful, I would have said it already."

"Hey, what are you talking about? What do you mean by 'useful to us'? Tell me, have you run into some trouble? Or did you fail to get your hands on a beauty?"

Ji Tianzhuo sighed. He didn't want to discuss these things with them, but looking at their expressions, he couldn't help but complain, "It's all because of my husband. He's like a different person lately, always scheming to bring down my second daughter."

"Second Miss? Is that Ji Meiqing?" They also curiously gathered around. "Come on, tell us about her. Maybe we can help you out."

After taking another swig of wine, Ji Tianzhuo sighed, feeling the spiciness, and then slowly said, "That second young lady is, after all, my sister. Since we're all family, I went to her little tavern a few days ago, but I was kicked out."

"You can't even beat your own sister? I remember your sister isn't very capable." They teased each other for a while, then laughed and looked at Ji Tianzhuo.

Ji Tianzhuo put down the wine jar, glared at her, and said, "Who said that? I can beat her. She's just a woman."

He then let out a cold laugh, took a swig, and the anger in his chest vanished instantly. He placed the wine jar on the table, startling all the dishes.

"She relied on her lover's abilities and never took me seriously."

"Oh, so you can't beat your brother-in-law, huh?" They laughed, unaware of the real story. Ji Tianzhuo looked at them one by one, but ultimately continued drinking his wine.

Anyway, it's all my fault, so I can't blame anyone else.

They chuckled as they drank. Ji Tianzhuo drank, but still felt it wasn't enough. They devoured the food on the table, each one a bite, while they flirted with the beautiful women beside them.

Ji Tianzhuo glanced at it and felt a tightness in his chest, so he went to lean against the window, drinking and looking at the scenery outside.

The giggling sounds from the other side of the dining table slowly reached his ears, and feeling somewhat annoyed, he simply left.

Although the laughter outside was still a bit annoying, it was still better than being inside. He drank and stumbled back to his room.

Upon entering, a gasp was heard. Ji Tianzhuo was already disoriented and slowly walked towards the girl, tripping over his legs and nearly falling several times along the way.

"Young Master." A clear, melodious voice sounded in my ear, inexplicably pleasant yet puzzling. I was vaguely dragged to the bed.

But being so drunk, I couldn't think about anything else. My head was spinning, and I quickly fell asleep.

When he woke up again, he saw the brightly colored bed curtains. Ji Tianzhuo covered his head, as if something was trying to break out, and the pain made him twitch uncontrollably.

The door opened, and anxious footsteps approached him. The person helped him drink some water before letting go. It took Ji Tianzhuo a long time to catch his breath before he looked up at the person in front of him, his expression quite complicated. "It's you."

"Young master." The girl moved a little further away, afraid that he might do something to her again.

Ji Tianzhuo rolled over and lay on the bed. His head didn't hurt as much anymore, but his body was still a little weak, making him feel quite uncomfortable.

"What time is it now?" He struggled to get out of bed and slowly went to wash up. The girl stood behind him and said tremblingly, "It's already the hour of Mao (5-7 AM)."

"So early." He was still a little incredulous that he would wake up so early, and his surprise was momentarily overwhelming.

After washing up, Ji Tianzhuo sat down and poured himself a cup of tea. Seeing that she was still standing there, he couldn't help but ask, "Are you going to stand here the whole time?"

"I..." She hesitated for a moment, then immediately shook her head, still not quite believing him. Ji Tianzhuo chuckled, thinking about yesterday's events, his head throbbing even more.

Rubbing his head, he splashed cold water on his face, which made him feel much more awake.

"You rest, I'm leaving." He picked up his coat and left. The girl walked to the door, watched him leave, her hands gripping the door frame so tightly that her nails dug into it.

Upon returning to the Ji residence, Tian Cuiwei greeted him and asked, "Where have you been? You haven't come back all night."

"Me? Seeking pleasure, you know that." He pursed his lips and continued walking forward, with Tian Cuiwei following behind, her expression not very pleasant.

"Don't ask me about my affairs next time. Don't think that just because you gave birth to a son you're really the master of this house."

Tian Cuiwei was taken aback, feeling a surge of anger, but she suppressed it and said softly, "Yes, I understand."

"It's best to know." He went into his courtyard, and Tian Cuiwei wanted to follow, but was blocked by the door.

Lu Yu found a place to lie down and rest. Tian Cuiwei stood outside the door for a while before leaving, a hint of hatred swirling in her eyes.

The maidservant beside her was also somewhat frightened by her appearance.

"Go and find out which girl the young master was with last night." She suppressed the madness in her eyes and gave her order to the maid beside her.

After a few seconds of stunned silence, she immediately understood and went out. Tian Cuiwei stood in the courtyard, looking in Ji Tianzhuo's direction with slight disappointment.
