Chapter 80 Almost Exposed
Chapter 80 Almost Exposed
After dinner, I came upstairs early because I felt unwell, so I quickly took two pills.
After taking the medicine, in order not to look so disheveled, I went to the bedroom to take a shower, changed into my pajamas, and sat on the edge of the bed.
There's always a book on my bedside table, and I take it out to read before going to sleep.
I was reading a book when I heard Song Yafei coming upstairs.
A moment later, she pushed open the bedroom door.
He looked at me with a smile on his face, his eyes scrutinizing me as he scanned me from head to toe. "Waiting for me?"
Her teasing tone made me very uncomfortable, and coupled with her past attitude towards me, I always felt like I was a plaything.
She seems to have forgotten that I'm not one of those people outside, and I don't like her style.
I didn't respond to her, but instead looked down at my book and didn't show any dissatisfaction with her.
She sat down on the edge of the bed, glanced at the book in my hand, and asked, "What are you reading?"
She used to like my designs, but since we got married, she doesn't want to mention them or even hear me mention the word "design."
Therefore, I am unwilling to talk to her about this matter.
After accepting the book, I gave her a simple reply: "Professor Xie has an art exhibition recently and needs me to draw a few design drafts. I'm a bit stuck, so I'd like to read more books to see if I can get some inspiration."
Song Yafei pursed her lips dismissively, placed her hand on mine, and pinched my arm from bottom to top.
“You’ve lost weight again recently, don’t overwork yourself! If we can do it, we can do it; if we can’t, we can just leave it at that. I’ll just talk to Professor Xie about it.”
I don't think she was really concerned about my health; maybe she just wanted to keep me at home.
I put the book on the shelf and took the opportunity to get rid of her hand that was reaching up to me.
Changing the subject, she said, "It's getting late, you should wash up and go to bed early."
My words seemed to have hit the nail on the head.
She smiled and even reached out to pinch my chin. "Okay, I'll go wash up now. Wait for me."
That's not what I meant at all, but she interpreted it that way, as if I were sexually frustrated.
In fact, I didn't want to continue what we hadn't finished that afternoon with her.
She went into the bathroom, and soon I heard the sound of running water. I felt a little annoyed.
"What are you thinking about?"
I've already lay down, staring blankly at the empty space.
Song Yafei had already finished washing up and walked out of the bathroom. She was drying her hair as she walked towards the dressing table.
As she walked to the sofa, she suddenly pulled up my pants.
Then, the business card I had left in my bag fell out in a rather dramatic fashion.
I instantly became nervous, and my heart jumped into my throat.
Divorce is something that absolutely cannot be mentioned in front of Song Yafei. I wonder what she will think when she sees this business card.
I was very nervous, afraid that she would find out something.
She even got up nervously, but then forced herself to remain calm and leaned back against the headboard.
Song Yafei picked up the business card, her brows furrowing slightly. "Why would I need a lawyer?"
I tried to remain calm and said, "It's nothing, I just wanted to find out some information."
"For what reason?"
Song Yafei's shrewd and beautiful eyes were fixed on me, as if trying to see something in my eyes.
I squeezed my hands hidden under the covers, searching my mind for a possible excuse.
"I haven't touched design for many years and I've almost forgotten the rules of the industry, so I'm consulting a lawyer. Otherwise, if there are problems with the exhibition, it might cause trouble for Professor Xie."
She stared at me for two seconds and then placed her business card on the table.
She also sat in front of the dressing table, combing her hair as she spoke to me.
"The group has the best legal team. If needed, I can put in a word with them, and you can go directly to them."
I tossed the business card into the drawer. "Okay, I'll let you know in advance if I need anything later."
Inside the open drawer was a box, a gift I had prepared for Song Yafei, which I had designed myself.
But many things happened afterward, and I never took it out again.
To distract her, I took the box out and placed it on the dressing table.
Song Yafei smiled and opened it after seeing it. Inside was an exquisite bracelet, which I had promised to design for her.
She held the bracelet in her hand and examined it closely. Judging from her expression and eyes, you could tell she was very satisfied.
She smiled and said, "I thought you'd forgotten."
of course not.
I can't forget what she said, what she did, or what she did.
But it is precisely because of this that I feel so conflicted and in pain.
The bracelet lay in her palm. She held her hand out to me and gently shook it. "Help me put it on."
I pursed my lips, feeling slightly calmer because she hadn't mentioned any more nominated films.
But the hand that was putting the bracelet on her wrist was still trembling slightly.
After putting on the bracelet, I was about to put my hands down.
Suddenly, Song Yafei reached out and grabbed my wrist. With a forceful movement, I lunged at her.
My face stopped just a fist's distance from hers. Her beautiful, sparkling eyes were fixed on me, a faint smile playing on her lips, which she couldn't help but curl upwards.
Her soft, boneless hands slowly climbed upwards and touched my chest.
My heart was pounding.
She gradually closed the distance, brushing past my ear, her sweet voice entering my ear canal.
She said with a hint of smugness, "You still have feelings for me. Even if you're just being stubborn, your true feelings can't be hidden."
I am speechless.
I couldn't tell whether it was because I was nervous or because of her sudden approach.
Her hands roamed over my body, and her alluring red tongue coiled around my neck like a little snake.
Before I could get emotional, I pressed down on her misbehaving hands.
In a hoarse voice, he asked her, "Are you better now?"
Before I could say anything more, Song Yafei pushed me down and mounted me, seemingly impatient.
"Whether it's good or not, you'll know once you try it."
"Also, there's a joke circulating online lately about the 'red-temperature' state... want to give it a try?"
I knew that joke too, and I immediately understood what she meant. Coupled with her alluring red lips, my face instantly turned red.
Seeing my expression, she laughed even harder, "We've been together for so many years, and you're still so shy!"
I sound like a woman, but when I'm in love, anything I say sounds beautiful.
Her reckless behavior heightened my emotions.
After we had all taken off our clothes, I reached into the drawer for a cover.
I don't know if it interrupted her emotions or what, but she grabbed my hand with red eyes.
“Zhang Tian, we are husband and wife, we don’t need these things.”
Don't you need it?
It's very necessary.
I pulled my hand away from hers and took the box out of the drawer.
Song Yafei's expression turned somewhat unpleasant. "We have a normal marital relationship. Even if you got pregnant, you can just keep the baby. Why do you always have to use protection?"
She seems to have forgotten that she was the one who took the medicine in the first place.
