Chapter 2 System Appearance
Ruan Mianmian walked cautiously through the deep, dense forest.
At that moment, she secretly rejoiced. Luckily, she had worn an extra thick coat when she left home because she was afraid of catching a cold from the rain; otherwise, she certainly wouldn't have been able to make her way through the dense forest in short sleeves.
The dense forest was filled with a suffocating dampness and heat, but she dared not roll up her sleeves even an inch, fearing that the slightest carelessness would result in being bitten by some mysterious creature and losing her life. Although she had been transported to an unfamiliar place, she still wanted to live well.
Her high-top boots crunched crisply on the layers of leaves, the sound echoing jarringly in the silent forest.
As Ruan Mianmian struggled forward, she kept her eyes wide open, carefully observing the movements around her, lest she miss any crucial information.
Based on her valuable experience accumulated from reading numerous novels, she knew that such a deep, dense forest must be hiding highly venomous insects and enormous, ferocious wild beasts.

Suddenly, something flashed past her feet like lightning, its speed astonishing.
Immediately afterwards, a slight yet clearly audible rustling sound reached my ears.
Clearly, these unidentified creatures were hiding under the dense foliage, seemingly searching for food or waiting for an opportunity to attack her.
Faced with this situation, Ruan Mianmian felt fear and quickly picked up a thick, sturdy tree branch from the ground, using it as a walking stick to explore the way ahead. She would occasionally use it to nudge the branch beside her, trying to dispel any potential dangers.
With a whoosh, a soft-bodied creature, perhaps an earthworm or something else, emerged from under the leaves. It was about as thick as an adult snake and lunged at her with its mouth open.
Upon seeing this, Ruan Mianmian screamed and quickly ran in the opposite direction.
Ruan Mianmian ran desperately, her heart pounding and her breathing rapid. In her panic, she suddenly tripped over a tree root and fell heavily to the ground.
Seeing that the monster was about to catch up, Ruan Mianmian closed her eyes in despair.
However, at that moment, a long-feathered animal, about the size of an ostrich, pounced out from the side of the bushes and swallowed the mollusk with a sharp beak.
Because Ruan Mianmian was wearing an earthy yellow coat today, she lunged forward and landed right in a small ditch. The terrain was perfect for concealing her figure, so the feathered creature didn't notice her.
As soon as the animal left, Ruan Mianmian was so frightened that she quickly got up and hid under the nearby vegetation.
Oh my god, what was that just now? It looked like a chicken!
But can anyone tell her that chickens are as big as ostriches?
She didn't know how long she had been squatting when she felt a sharp pain in her legs. She slowly moved her legs and carefully observed her surroundings.

Beep, beep, beep! The system is binding, please wait patiently.
After the sound disappeared, Ruan Mianmian looked bewildered.
"System? Binding? What's going on?" she muttered to herself.
Suddenly, a transparent screen appeared before her eyes, displaying the words: "Welcome to the Goddess System".
Ruan Mianmian stared at the screen in surprise, momentarily at a loss for what to do.
